Orchard Baptist Fellowship

Welcome

Orchard Baptist Fellowship's website.

If you have visited us recently, we sincerely hope that you enjoyed being with us. If you are considering a visit, or are simply exploring what the Christian faith might mean to you, you can be sure of a warm welcome.

Orchard Baptist Fellowship (OBF) is a lively and growing evangelical church. Worship is contemporary in style and the congregation spans the whole age-range, with a large number of adults in the 35-55 range. The church is informal and relaxed - welcoming to spiritual seekers and newcomers to the area alike.
The church's sense of purpose is summed up in its vision - "building communities of people who love God and love others" by "cultivating deep roots and wide branches".

On Sundays, we meet at Cooper School, Churchill Road, Bicester, OX26 4RS.

Pioneer weekend away

Over 40 church friends had a weekend of refreshing (body, soul & spirit!) at the Canadian lodge-themed Pioneer Centre, Cleobury Mortimer, in the rolling Shropshire hills. On offer was full board comfort, games, teaching and precious time with each other and with God.

Rebuilding homes in Chiweshe

Sean Mullens (from Zimbabwe) came to speak at OBF on Sunday 1st March when he shared the news about the villagers being able to rebuild their homes and passed on thanks for the support given during this traumatic time.

What's been happening?

You can read me about it in our news & events pages.

Verse for the day:

“[Love for Enemies] "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.”
